So Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are expecting their first child together, and the baby is reportedly due in September! Yay! There’s been a ton of chatter about the news already, and Gigi just opened up about pregnancy for the second time.

During an Instagram Live with Maybelline makeup artist Erin Parsons, Gigi showed off her makeup skills and got so real about whether or not she’s ever tried fillers and walking in fashion shows shortly after she found out she was pregnant. She told Erin:

“It’s so funny, the things you see online. People think that I shape my brows, like I shape my brows really arched. If you look at baby pictures of me, I’ve had these crazy arched brows since I was born. Also that people think I do fillers on my face and that’s why my face is round—I’ve had this since I was born. Especially fashion month, when I was already, like, a few months preggo, you know….”

When Erin asked if she noticed any changes in her face since being pregnant, Gigi was like, “Well, I think I, like, have the cheeks already, so it’s like there’s not a lot to, like, fill in….Don’t worry. I’m happy with the natural process of the world.”

After showing how she fills in her brows, Gigi went back to the plastic surgery topic and made sure to add that she is too controlling and scared to experiment with it and has “never injected anything” into her face. “[My face] slimmed down for sure [since I was 17], but also, it’s like, I think that people are, like, so fast to do permanent things to their face,” she said. “When really, like anything—I’ve loved being like, I accept myself how it is. That doesn’t mean I don’t have insecurities sometimes. But like, for special occasions, you can sculpt your nose a little bit or do whatever with makeup.”

That said, she definitely doesn’t hold anything against people who have dabbled in injections and the like. She said, “I’m so happy for everyone to do whatever they want that makes them happy and make them feel more comfortable and good about themselves.”
