Hilary Duff and her fiancé Matthew Koma quietly got married at their home over the weekend, and Hils just dropped the first look at her truly S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G wedding gown. The dress was designed by Jenny Packham, and was custom-made in London and then shipped to L.A.
“I sat down with my stylist, Jessica Paster, and we went through many designers and looked at their aesthetics, and together we settled on Jenny,” Hilary told Vogue. “Her work is so beautiful.”
As you can see, the gown has super pointy shoulders—a pretty bold choice for a wedding dress! “There’s a very modern shoulder,” Hilary said. “When we were coming up with the design, it was important to me that it was striking but simple. I couldn’t imagine wearing a big fluffy dress.”
She continued, “Matthew is very simple, and I really wanted to honor that. I really want to feel like myself, but also how I envisioned he would see me. The end result of what we came up with, with Jenny, is exactly how I wanted him to see me. I think it’s how he would envision what I would look like as a bride. It’s really special.”

Meanwhile, a source tells People, “The wedding was at her house. It was small and low-key. Only family and close friends…The ceremony started at sunset and they got married inside the house. When the ceremony was over, guests cheered. The reception was in a white tent in the backyard. Her sister Haylie was very involved in the wedding prep too. Hilary and Haylie are very close.”
