- Prince George joined his parents on the royals’ annual summer grouse hunt.

What exciting things have you been up to this summer? Trying to treat your mask acne? Registering to vote? Woefully wondering if you should buy an inflatable kiddie pool? Cool, same. Meanwhile, Prince George is currently on vacation in Scotland with his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and apparently their itinerary includes grouse shooting.
According to People, Prince George was included in the annual tradition that goes down at the Queen’s Balmoral estate, where the Cambridges are currently vacationing. The magazine reports that George joined other members of the royal family—including Princess Anne and Prince Edward—on the hunt for grouse, watching the adults like, IDK, kill some birds I guess. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were not included in the outing.

Psst: If you’re wondering why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren’t with the rest of the royal fam at Balmoral, that would be because we’re still in the middle of a global pandemic. Apparently, Harry is “upset” about being stuck in California and had hoped to join his family, but on the plus side he’s loving his new life in Montecito. “Harry doesn’t know the area well at all, but so far so good,” a source recently said. “Santa Barbara is more his scene than L.A.…He has the freedom and space he needs. Harry was extremely unhappy in L.A.”
Here’s to hoping everyone can reunite next year! Except maybe not the grouse. They should probably get TF out of there.
