Who Is Bri Springs? Meet Matt James’ ‘Bachelor’ Contestant

Matt James’s season of The Bachelor is rather…interesting, wouldn’t you agree? It’s almost finale time and, and we’ve witnessed more than enough drama thanks to the characters (*ahem*) contestants who were chosen to compete for Matt’s heart this season. Fans got a bitter taste of “Queen” Victoria Larson‘s personality right from the start and were left stunned over those upsetting Rachael Kirkconnell racism allegations that surfaced recently, so uh…it’s about time to pivot to something positive by talking about Bri Springs!

According to Chris Harrison—who is no longer with us after “stepping aside” from his hosting duties—Bri is the “total package, in all seriousness.” Ahead of the season premiere, Chris gushed about Bri in his Meet the Women of The Bachelor YouTube vid and said pretty much “everybody would really fall for Bri” because of her “beauty, brains, unbelievably sincere” nature. High praise from the (now former) OG!

Bri has already made an impression on Matt—as evidenced by that extremely down and dirty ATV/hot tub solo date—but will she take home the final rose? Read on and speculate, Bachelor Nation!

Bri had* a high-profile tech job in San Francisco

“I’m not allowed to say what tech company, and I don’t want to put her job in jeopardy,” Chris Harrison explained in Bri’s intro video. “But it is a big one, so much so that she almost wasn’t on the show because she didn’t want to give up this amazing job. Legit career.” (Peep Chris gushing about Bri at the 12:11 mark below.)

Bri’s official bio for The Bachelor, which isn’t up to date, says she’s a communications manager (at just 24!) and “works for a high-profile social media company.” But oops, Bri doesn’t actually work for said company anymore—during week seven of The Bachelor, Bri revealed that she actually quit her dream job in order to continue pursuing a relationship with Matt.

“A few days ago, I did something really big. I had to resign from my position to be here,” Bri told Matt in the episode. “I knew that was a decision I was going to have to make. But after weighing what this journey could mean for me, to give me that opportunity to find love with someone—with you specifically, I thought it was worth it.”

She has a huuuuge love for the outdoors

Bri is a true outdoorsy person. Her bio says “it’s very rare that she spends a weekend indoors and not outside hiking or hanging at the park and nearby beaches,” and she plans to one day “live in Kauai and to live the island life eating nothing but sushi, swimming in the ocean and hiking.”

Family is everything to her

Bri was raised by her mother and grandmother, and according to her bio, they “made countless sacrifices to give her a fighting shot at having a successful life.” To pay those sacrifices forward, Bri made it a personal mission of hers to “always outwork everyone around her because she learned early on that everything in life was earned not promised.”

Bri has some body ink!

She has two tattoos—a lil wave on her left wrist, possibly representing her love of swimming and being at the beach, and a tat on her ribcage that says “thirteen” in Farsi.

And here’s how far Bri makes it…
