Jana Kramer Shares Particulars From Being “Mentally, Bodily and Emotionally Abused” in Previous Relationships

In an emotional social media message, Jana Kramer shared about having been “abused in previous relationships” and the way she discovered to ignore “the unfavorable voices in my head.”

Jana Kramer is sharing life classes from her painful previous moments in the hopes that followers proceed to remind themselves of their price. 

On Monday, Sept. 27, the 37-year-old One Tree Hill alum posted a strong message to Instagram about having “believed the unfavorable voices in my head” throughout low moments. Jana has beforehand opened up about being a survivor of abuse, though she didn’t point out anybody particularly by title in her new publish.

“The voices in my head….I have been mentally bodily and emotionally abused in previous relationships,” she wrote. “I allowed sure behaviors to proceed on as a result of I really believed the unfavorable voices in my head that have been spoken to me. ‘Nobody will need you’….’you are the issue’….’I’ll kill you’…..’I barely pushed you, do not be so dramatic’…’you bruise simply , I hardly touched you, you are loopy’…should you wore one thing sexier I might sleep with you’…. ‘You’re the frequent denominator.'”

She continued, “All of the phrases, and abuse equaled, I am not sufficient. And I am undeserving of affection. For years I’ve repeated patterns, fallen into the lure of believing these voices, hurting myself and hurting others due to my need to be chosen, to be sufficient. And I’ve fallen for a similar abuse in a relationship as a result of it is what I believed I deserved. My therapeutic…your therapeutic…our therapeutic is to cease these unfavorable voices.”

Jana went on by encouraging herself and her followers to “develop, study, HEAL, and love ourselves. We’re sufficient. You might be sufficient. I’m sufficient.”

In her accompanying photograph, she held up an indication that tweaked just a few phrases in a unfavorable message to remodel it into the hopeful assertion, “I am not damaged. I AM sufficient.”

Two months in the past, Jana finalized her divorce from former NFL participant Mike Caussin, who had sought treatment for sex addiction throughout their relationship. Within the divorce submitting previously obtained by E! News, she listed her causes for separation as “inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable variations and adultery.”

Throughout a 2016 interview with People journal, Jana shared her reminiscences in regards to the alleged bodily abuse she suffered from first husband Michael Gambino, with the outlet stating he was convicted in 2005 of making an attempt to homicide Jana and sentenced to 6 years in jail. In response to Individuals, Michael was launched in 2010 and died by suicide in 2012.

“He went to jail for tried homicide on me,” Jana stated on Dancing With the Stars in 2016 when discussing her first husband. “It has been a really heavy secret to carry for therefore a few years.” 

Throughout the DWTS phase about her relationship with Michael, Jana stated the state of affairs “broke me.” She added that becoming a mother supplied her with “the energy I did not know I might have.”
