Speaking for myself, my uniform these days consists of leggings, sweatpants, bike shorts, and sports bras so activewear is kinda my thing now. The materials are just so comfortable no matter if you’re spending all day on the sofa or you’re actually putting your outfit to the test with a yoga flow, a masked run outside, or a DIY workout with your weighted blanket in your apartment. (Hey, whatever works!) And while there are tons of major activewear brands that immediately come to mind, consider these Black-owned ones that are just as amazing.
Many of these companies were started to create space and visibility for Black women in the fitness world, and between the colorful patterns, size-inclusivity, and all-around cool styles, the below 14 Black-owned activewear brands are not to be missed.
