Le Bristol Paris to Unveil New Suite, Garden in September

Le Bristol Paris will reopen its doors September 1, 2020 with updated rooms and suites. The new Lumière Suite and transformed courtyard garden are the capstone marking the completion of Le Bristol Paris’ multi-phase renovation.

The new guestroom designs follow the renovation of all three restaurants, spa and bar. Guests can now spot a selection of period lamps with porcelain feet mixed with brass reading lamps and light oak bookcases set beside wing chairs or rosewood tables. Louis XVI-style beds are adorned with throws in pale shades of ochre, taupe celadon green or blue-grey.

Le Bristol’s rooms and suites will be joined by a new member: The Lumière Suite. Located on the hotel’s fifth floor with a view over Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, the suite has a library corridor between the drawing room and bedroom and large bow windows.

In addition, the Paris Suite has received embroidered draperies at the French doors. In the Elysée Suite, there is a walk-in closet, an expansive drawing room, walls painted in soft hues and limed oak molding. A private bar was added to the living space. The Panoramic Suite now boasts a plush new sofa. Suite 1925, a tribute to Josephine Baker added original portraits of the entertainer, taken within Le Bristol Paris.

World-renowned landscape designer Arabella Lennox-Boyd created a new garden for Le Bristol Paris. Lennox-Boyd selected many plants native to the Paris region, suited to local conditions. Each tree, shrub and flower was deliberately chosen to support the biodiversity of the garden. What to expect: Narcissi and tulips in spring, white bougainvillea and pink and deep burgundy roses come summer, the blooms of ornamental grasses and the copper beech leaves in autumn and winter’s incubation is sculpted by evergreens.
